The 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250R boasts a host of improvements for beginner motorcyclists seeking a fully-faired sportbike.
New-for-2008 features include:
- New bodywork.
- Revised dual overhead camshafts and a new 2-into-1 exhaust system for more low and mid-range torque from the dual-carbureted 249cc DOHC parallel twin-cylinder engine.
- Refined intake and exhaust ports for improved off-idle response and smooth power delivery.
- Reduced engine noise via an automatically adjusting cam chain tensioner.
- A new fairing and windscreen for improved wind protection.
- A new 37mm telescopic front fork with firm settings.
- New, larger 17″ wheels with low-profile tires.
- A larger 290mm front brake rotor.
The 2008 Kawasaki Ninja 250R is priced arround $3,499 and will available in four colors: Lime Green, Ebony, Passion Red, and Candy Plasma Blue.
Can you tell if they are really planing of launching it in India or just the talks.

Yes they have plans to Launch it with in 6-7 months time.price will be arround 2 lakhs.

It won’t be available in Nepal, the best u can do is import it from India. (although I m not very much sure) But as if now, there is now news from Bajaj for its launch in India too. So just wait and wait.
Tentative date for ninja launch could be mid of next year. Bajaj is closely looking at the response of Yamaha r15 and will be shelling out his ninja soon for competition.
Those who cannot wait can go for Karizma 223 or Pulsur 220. And buddies, like me, who have lot of patience and ready to shell out a handsome money of around 4200$ , Just wait… The day will come , when u will be accelerating ninja on ur city streets, catching eyes of everyone on the way. And the only thing u will hear is… Wow..what a sexy Sexy bike.
As per recent analises there is some electrical problem in the bike, so they had postponed the launch until and unless it is cleared.As this bike is a beast with a beautifull look every bike is eagrly looking out for this darling to be launched, and it can only happen next year.

i,m fan of bajaj bikes since pulser model launched in india.according to my own survey,mostly young people have so much craze for bikes and demands for good looking and good millage.
i have few idea,s for bajaj ninja 250cc to change his bike looks,and i,am sure people will not even like but aslo will help to increase in sale.
guys there is no news of ninja if it is coming or when it is coming to India. all the pro-biking dealers are in dark just like we are. I think we shouldn’t wait anymore and buy some other bike. Bajaj never keeps its promises of launch deadlines.

please dont go for the look of the bike but it should be suits to the indian roads as far as ia used bajaj pulsasr all maodels up to 225 cc what the main problem i faced the chain box of the bike if the ninja250 will also does the same then i dont think….any but the total body of the bike should be well fixed in a way it dosent get loose or i wish and waiting for a great bike from bajaj after all it is HAMARA BAJAJ!!!
it will definetily compete high range bikes like yamaha r15, fz 16, . it will definitly raise the demand of this bike in india.
